The 'My First...' series explores the intersection of power dynamics in children's educational play spaces, where adult themes are presented in absurd or nuanced ways through gamification and/or toy aesthetics.

This project considers the blurred lines of naivety in childhood play, and the very real frameworks in which children perform power and authority.

What lies between toy weapons and the everyday policing device, and how might this invite critical reflections on societal norms and the perceptions of childhood innocence.
