Future Foresight Blueprint

This ongoing project and workshop 'Future Foresight Blueprint' began in a lecture and workshop at the Royal College of Art, London under the same title. The work explores the gamification and toy aesthetics used to market and sell divine feminine experiences in gendered child media and culture. How can we challenge societal norms on the feminisation of spirituality?

Drawing inspiration from the 2022 public apology by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon on behalf of the Scottish government for the persecution and execution of accused witches. The witch hunting and subsequent trials are a true and violent manifestation of wide-spread misogyny and this project aims to further examine the relationship between gendered toy culture and the future of femininity and empowerment.
